Clients can then view these licenses and download licensed files. XAsset differs from myDownloads by allowing admins to set permissions on a per-user basis as opposed to user groups. This allows for greater flexibility when distributing several files
Extra consideration is given to security by making sure that users cannot view licenses or download file that they have no licenses for. This is accomplished by providing an encrypted key that must match an item ID on the URL to view or download items
One major departure from the norm is using the Smarty engine for all admin screens.
